Fresh Strawberries Dipped in ChocolateAnd Other Chocolate Covered FruitFresh strawberries dipped in chocolate have been a common practice of many years. It is not know when this taste combination was created, but is has lead to a dessert that many people have come to love. Other taste sensations can be created by dipping a variety of fruits in chocolate. Some chocolate covered fruit ideas are: apples, apricots, cherries, strawberries, peaches, grapes and other firm tropical fruit. In some countries, chocolate covered dried fruit is preferred, although these do taste great you can’t beat the taste of ripe fresh fruit. When making fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate make sure that you select the ripest and freshest strawberries, avoid using ones that are still a bit green as these can have a sour taste. When making chocolate covered strawberries ensure that the strawberries you are using are clean and completely dry, then allow them to come to room temperature prior to making them. After the strawberries have been covered in chocolate place them in the refrigerator to set, but do not store them in the fridge. Chocolate dipped strawberries are best eaten on the same day. For
